Australian Knowledge Enterprise Management Institute (AKEMI)AKEMI is a body for the development of Knowledge Enterprises in Asia Pacific. AKEMI is in the business of facilitating young executives’ career development. This is achieved through imparting of the latest management models and tools to gain enhanced efficiencies in the emerging global knowledge economy. AKEMI accredited Professionals is limited to 500 per country. They will become beacons of influence within a period of 18 months of being admitted by AKEMI. It is a privilege to be admitted FOR MEMBERSHIP by AKEMI. This occurs by invitations. Expressions of interest on a confidential basis are also encouraged from top professionals. This will be responded to within a period of 14 days of receipt of the communication. The main area of focus and expertise will be Knowledge Marketing in all its facets of business. The main target audience will be outstanding professionals in the Business management area in the age group of 26 to 46 who have at least a Masters degree or its equivalent in managerial experience and who have a good working knowledge of English. The main benefit to members will be the continuous updates in the area of knowledge management and regular access to market research and intelligence in this sector. In-depth training will be available on how to utilize this information in order to create ‘highly valued fresh knowledge’ on a contextual basis that can generate enhanced revenues to the professional and the organization they belong to on every occasion their knowledge capital is utilized. Executive retreats of 5 working days will be held annually in a selected country. The next retreat is scheduled to be held during Nov/Dec 2007. Participants limited to 100. Five top professionals will be invited from across the globe to share their experiences. Top professionals from Australia will also be present. Each day will have a theme pertaining to Knowledge Enterprise development. Total cost will include meals drinks etc. Sponsorships will be invited from individuals and organizations . A suitable ad agency is being recruited to facilitate this event. State/Federal govt. sponsorship will be sought as sponsors as well. Australian Research reports will become additional revenues. The next global research on knowledge enterprises will be planned during the event that will form the basis of the next event.
