Dr. Anoop Swarup (PhD, MBA) - Patron

Dr Swarup has varied and extensive experience of over 25 years at key public and policy  positions in public, private and not for profit sectors having served as a Commissioner, Director and Deputy Secretary with Government of India in the federal Ministry of Finance and as the Executive Director of NYKS, the largest Youth Organisation of its kind in the world. He has also been the Managing Director of the National Youth Cooperative Bank that he helped setting up and was also a Manager with the New India Assurance Co where he helped setting up a Zonal Office for the state in the early 1980s.

He has also been a visiting professor and a teaching faculty being intimately involved in curriculum development and training for over 25 years with various educational institutions and Universities that include Monash University, Melbourne, Faculty of Business and Economics (2006 to date), University of Melbourne (2007) and the Swinburne University of Technology (2002 to 2003), National Institute of Computer Education Society, New Delhi and Meerut (1996 to 2005), National Institute of Financial Management, Faridabad (1996 to 2005), National Academy of Customs, Excise and Narcotics, New Delhi (1996 to 2005), Barkatullah University, Bhopal (1991 to 1994) and Vikram University Ujjain (1981 to 1984).

 

Mr. Kumaran Thangarajah - Executive Chairman

Kumaran Thangarajah started lecturing in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Marketing to Postgraduate students at the Post graduate Institute of Agriculture at the University of Sri Lanka in 1980 and subsequently managed Small Farmer Business Marketing  workshops from 1989 through an FAO/United Nations project in Thailand  He has been training professionals intermittently for over twenty years. He has authored a book entitled: ‘Marketing for small scale agriculturists in Asia”  He trained in Sri Lanka, obtaining a B.Sc undergraduate degree followed by specializing in Agricultural and Food Marketing at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in England that lead to an M.Sc degree in Marketing completed in 1978. This was under the Professorship of E.M. Carpenter the first professor in Europe and the UK in this field.

In furthering his marketing and management skills, Kumaran has worked in professional marketing roles for Lyons Tetley in London, Government of Sri Lanka, FAO/United Nations in Thailand, Telstra Corporation in Australia, and various firms undertaking groundbreaking consultancy assignments and projects in Singapore and Australia.

In 1999, Kumaran founded the Melbourne School of Knowledge Management after undertaking in-depth research and developing learning modules in knowledge Business Marketing and related topics. He has undertaken workshop based training under the auspices of University/Government department in Thailand and the Interact Asia-Pacific festival organised under the auspices of the State Government of Victoria.

 

Mr Fulvio Inserra - Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Has been in the Information Technology industry for over 20 years and has managed a number of successful businesses.  A strong advocate of building and delivering solutions that specifically meet the requirements of target markets (not a one size fits all approach). He is not afraid to challenge traditional views and approaches to the way IT & T solutions are developed, lifecycle managed and their direct impact (negative or positive) on business operations.  Having worked in organisations including Telstra, BHP and a number of IT service providers.  He is an experienced architect in the area of midrange/workgroup related infrastructure, strategic planning, policy development & implementation.  He is now also the Director of The Mastermind Group (www.tmg100.com)

Although most of his corporate experience has been managing the building and lifecycle management of large IT environments (given the last eight (8) years of his time was spent working with Telstra.  He is experienced in managing the build and lifecycle management of large IT multi-million dollar infrastructure projects including rationalisation, desktop & mobility

 

Mr. Kishore Bardeja - Consultant

Kishore Bardeja was born in a business family with activities spanning in automotive, trucking, and construction and international trade.  Kishore completed an honours degree in Commerce followed by a Post Graduate in Mass Communication.  He was the media planner with a leading suburban newspaper group.
